This waterside park is good for reflection shots and calm boardwalk photos. The soft morning light works especially well for capturing both the trail and the water surface.

Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City, Nam-gu, 140 Hyocheon-ro (Imam-dong)
The wooded paths and sloping lines make this a strong spot for portrait shots with lush green backgrounds. Use the open viewpoints to frame the outer city landscape as well.
48-8 Nammun-ro, Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City
This is a solid solo-friendly Korean lunch stop for barley rice and side dishes. It works well as a relaxed and filling break before the uphill scenic stops in the afternoon.
This is one of the better view-oriented photo spots for looking back over Gwangju. Aim for wide background shots near the cable car area and elevated viewpoints.
23 Jiho-ro 164beon-gil, Dong-gu, Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City (Jisan-dong)
This foothill trail is excellent for capturing the layered ridgelines and forest mood of Mudeungsan. Rather than attempting a long hike, focus on the entrance sections and open-sky segments for efficient photo stops.
1514-35 Mudeung-ro, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City
Some days may see rain. Pack an umbrella or check indoor alternatives in advance.
