Inje Autumn Flower Festival
Sep 24, 2026 ~ Oct 18, 2026 · Yongdae-ri, Buk-myeon, Inje-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province
The 2026 Inje Autumn Flower Festival commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of poet Park In-hwan, a leading figure in Korean modernist poetry, adding a special touch with a distinctive garden where literary sensibility and brilliant autumn flowers come together. The festival’s greatest feature is the opportunity to enjoy a variety of autumn flowers while feeling a lingering literary resonance in a space that modernly reinterprets the poet’s romance. The festival grounds are colorfully arranged with themed paths. Starting with the Park In-hwan Romantic Garden, flower rest area, and Lucky Observatory on “Path of Happiness,” visitors can enjoy a leisurely autumn walk through the wildflower garden and chrysanthemum bonsai exhibition hall on “Path of Love,” as well as the cozy waterside trail and slow mailbox on “Path of Communication.” On “Path of Healing,” visitors can stroll through the forest cafe and artist/community gardens, and enjoy nature-based experience programs such as tree climbing, a tree house, a children’s forest, and bookmark making. Food and entertainment are also plentiful, with the “Wellbeing Market” offering agricultural specialties and chrysanthemum sales, various craft experiences, food trucks, and lively performances. In addition, abundant events such as the Flower Path Stamp Tour, drawing contest, and rock-paper-scissors competition create the perfect autumn outing. General admission is free, while some experience programs require a fee.
