Gyeongbokgung Starlight Night Tour

Gyeongbokgung Starlight Night Tour is a nighttime exploration program where visitors tour the northern area of Gyeongbokgung Palace while experiencing royal cuisine and traditional culture. With expert commentary, participants move through various parts of the palace, learning about royal life during the Joseon dynasty and historical stories connected to Gyeongbokgung Palace. At Oesojubang, the palace kitchen, visitors can enjoy a special 12-dish royal table, reinterpreting Joseon-era court cuisine in a modern way and served in a “doseul” style. This year, a special changgeuk performance telling stories of the king is presented at Jibokjae, King Gojong’s study, offering a distinctive experience where the history of the space and the performance come together. Afterward, visitors can gaze at the starlight reflected in Hyangwonji Pond and enjoy the quiet scenery of Gyeongbokgung Palace with an atmosphere unlike the daytime. At Gyeongbokgung Starlight Night Tour, where the culinary culture of the Joseon royal court, historic spaces, beautiful night views, and traditional culture come together, visitors can experience a special and warm palace night.
