2026 Seoul Design Week

Seoul Design Week is a design festival that showcases the forward-looking tastes of Seoul, a global design city. Now in its thirteenth year, Seoul Design Week will present a wide range of design content for 12 days, from October 14 to 25, under the theme “The Design Recipe.” DDP Design Fair, under the concept of “a market full of tastes,” is a space where visitors complete brands discovered in Seoul according to their own individual tastes. Rather than organizing the space by consumer category, it is structured around “taste,” creating a stage where brands and emerging designers come together. The exhibitions will take place around DDP and at major locations across Seoul, including Seongsu and Hongdae. From works by 100 designers active in contemporary Seoul, to exhibitions on the design processes of overseas studios, and a goods pop-up exhibition filled with “Seoul Next,” the event will fill the entire city with diverse inspiration and serve as a venue encompassing the broad spectrum of the design industry. In addition, it will present a variety of supplementary programs, including exhibitions and markets, to strengthen the global competitiveness and distinctiveness of Seoul design and support a better life for Seoul citizens.
