Paju Fair Book & Culture
Oct 9, 2026 ~ Oct 18, 2026 · 145 Hoedong-gil, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do (Munbal-dong)
Paju Fair Book & Culture brings together major publishers, writers and readers, and bookstores in one place, offering a special venue where books are not merely objects to be read but can be viewed and enjoyed from new perspectives. It presents citizens with a wide range of cultural and artistic creations, including performances, exhibitions, and hands-on experiences inspired by the source content of books, further expanding the scope of reading culture. Going beyond the domestic market, it also actively introduces outstanding K-Books and related content to overseas markets, serving as a global marketplace that opens new sales channels. The 2026 Paju Fair Book & Culture will feature a diverse program over about 10 days. A variety of performances will take place, including the opening ceremony “BOOKS ALIVE!”, an indie music and dance festival, and a youth dance festival. The book market “Nan-geotdeul,” featuring around 290 publishers and bookstores, will be connected with the in-house program “Nan-jangpan” and themed exhibitions, offering plenty to see. In addition, youth companion programs will include the Paju Brewery Concert, the listening session “Let’s Just Listen First,” and the “Check-nic” experience, which rents out picnic supplies. Alongside these, a global publishing and IP business consultation event and an international forum will be held to support the expansion potential of K-Books overseas, while a rich range of cultural networking programs, including lectures and flea markets, will take place throughout the Publishing City.
