〈Pottery, Earthenware Vessels That Hold Us〉

Jul 29, 2026 ~ Oct 25, 2026 · 110 Haseo-ro, Buk-gu, Jeonnam-Gwangju Integrated Special City (Maegok-dong)

"Dogi: Earthenware Vessels That Hold Us" is a special exhibition held this July at the Gwangju National Museum. By taking another look at pottery, which has long been one of the closest companions in our everyday lives, visitors can encounter the stories held within these vessels, including their practicality, aesthetic beauty, and continuing tradition. The exhibition presents around 300 items, including a wrinkled-pattern bottle and a large jar excavated from the Cheonghaejin site on Jangdo Island, Wando.
